Hassle-free savings on TV, broadband & phone deal

Let Simplifydigital’s Switching Support service find you the right deal, without the hassle. Plus, get £50 cashback from Simplifydigital on selected Virgin Media deals.
Research by Simplifydigital.com, the UK’s only Ofcom-accredited advisory service for TV, broadband and phone deals, shows that 83 per cent of customers save money by bundling their services from a single provider, with the top 20 per cent saving more than £400 a year, and the top 10 per cent saving a staggering £550 a year.
Despite the huge potential savings, many people are put off moving to a better deal, because of the perceived hassle of switching.
That’s where the Simplifydigital Switching Support service can help. Their London based experts will search more than 6,000 deals from the top UK providers to find the best one for you. They then order the new deal for you, and remain on hand right up until the install of your new services.
In addition Simplifydigital offers a Lowest Price Guarantee so that if you find a cheaper deal elsewhere, they will refund the difference (terms and conditions apply).
Charlie Ponsonby, CEO of Simplifydigital.com, explains: “People who want to make big savings but simply don’t have the time to speak to all the providers individually can come to Simplifydigital.com and let us do the hard work for them”.
When searching for a broadband deal, it’s worth remembering that the advertised “up to” speed does not necessarily mean that’s the speed that you can achieve in your household.
Ofcom’s latest broadband speed survey shows average residential broadband speeds increased 19 per cent to an average of 6.2 Mbps in 2010 - but this is still just 45% of the average “up to” broadband speeds quoted in advertising.
In contrast, Virgin Media’s fibre-optic packages deliver an average of 90-96 per cent of the speeds advertised, whilst BT’s fibre-optic broadband service (BT Infinity) delivers 78 per cent of the advertised speed.
If you require a super-fast and reliable broadband connection, then Virgin Media recently launched its 30Mbps broadband service that offers nearly five times the UK average speed (6.2Mbps) at a great price.
Virgin Media’s 30Mb Broadband service (Size XL) is available packaged with TV Size: M+, and Phone Size: M for only £20 a month for the first six months and then £25 thereafter. Line rental is an extra £12.99 per month.
The package includes 65 popular digital TV channels (including Sky1), up to 30Mb super-fast fibre optic broadband and unlimited weekend calls to UK local landlines.
The package comes with free install (worth £40). What’s more, Simplifydigital is offering a further £50 cashback on this deal and other selected Virgin Media packages purchased over the phone (0800 840 5362) until April 21, 2011.
Sky and BT also have excellent entry level TV, broadband and phone bundles. If you’re a TV addict, then the Sky+ with 1 Entertainment Pack, Broadband & Skytalk Freetime may be for you. It offers an incredible 399 TV channels, up to 20Mbps broadband speed and unlimited downloads. The deal also comes with free evening and weekend calls to UK landlines. Sky is currently offering this deal for £19.50 per month for the first three months, £27 thereafter. Line rental is £11.25 per month.
If you want to find out more about the deals available in your area, then Simplifydigital’s experts are available seven days per week to talk you through the ins and outs of the deals.
The Simplifydigital Switching Support service is available free on 0800 840 5362 from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday; 9am to 5.30pm on Saturday and 10am to 5.30pm on Sunday, or visit www.simplifydigital.com
